Participants are invited to explore the definition, content and aims of Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and how this can be manifest inone´s own higher education organisation. After the workshop a participant is expected to have a firm understanding of the concept of an Academic Teacher, Academic Teachership and how SoTL can contribute to this career development process. The participant will be furnished with tools with which to look at her/his own practice, on possibilities, options and challenges to practicing SoTL in one´s own context and through this to contribute to the evolution of higher education teaching and learning in a structured and scientific fashion.
